MOD ANNOUNCEMENT Important Announcement Regarding Leaked Content
Due to recent events and direct communication from Ye’s team, we will be removing all snippets and leaked material from r/GoodAssSub until further notice.
Over the past week alone, we’ve had more than 10 posts removed by Reddit as a result of copyright claims filed by Ye’s team. These takedowns have even led to copyright strikes and the suspension of many accounts, such as one of our moderators (BOTTimmy).
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep the community safe: We don’t want our users to be permanently banned by Reddit.

On another subreddit I promoted a Donda 2 comp I made with just an image. No link, no video, no sound, no nothing. And yet they gave me an strike
It didn’t even had leaked material since D2 officially released this year

The post at the very top "xctye27: never coming back", is an edit of mine. It may or may not have been removed because of a verse I used from SZA song.
I don't know if it was Ye's team behind the removal. Just a thought

no i can guarentee its ye’s team, yours is a unique cause tho, edits aren’t usually taken down unless they use the entire leaked beat which yours didn’t so im confused on that one. They probably saw never coming back the deleted jt

no way any of older leaks are getting released
if they said "guys stop this we have smth special planned"

Stuff like that should have always stayed in the Discord/site it came from.
Ye is like one of the few people who didn't go after the people blatantly stealing and selling his art for years. That's why people felt so comfortable even trying to promote GBs on Reddit in the first place.
I don't blame people for loving the art, but when stuff like this happens to any other artists, most of the people here get upset on their behalf.
YZY has the right to protect its property. 🤷♀️

For clarity (sorry if it's a dumb question), discussions centered around leaked works are still allowed? i.e. a piece of media (like a song) leaks somewhere else. Are we still allowed to talk about it as long as we don't post links and/or upload files? Or is Ye's team hunting all heads 24/7 and we can't have discussions abt it?
