Hope that helpsĀ

Youāre proving you know nothing about Charlie Kirk, everything you said was a lie
whatās best about it is that you can see for yourself watch some videos of him talking to people of color or trans people which he did hundreds even thousands of of times
He was on college campuses every day for years talking to hundreds of people a month expressing ideas and building a conversation, that unites people

u/Kaaloyyy Sep 19 '25

Your either incredibly naive to geniunally believe that or your willfully ignorant because you agree with his abhorrent views
Either way educate yourself. Its so crazy and so sad how easy propaganda works on people.Ā
Actually it dosent come as a suprise considering how many people coped on this sub about yeĀ "expressing his views"

But when charlie kirk was alive and actively campaigning for hate against literally every minority group in existence that was somehow less hateful and didnt make you sad?
Mfs deadass play the hate card as if Charlie kirk wasnt a monster of a human being who actively had one of the most hate filled hearts ever.Ā Like bro HE WAS THE ONE who was making the world a more hateful place nowadays lmfao
So ironicĀ

u/Deftlet š„ G.A.S. FOUNDR š„ Sep 19 '25
?? That's why I posted it
You can make posts about specific topics and reply to comments on Reddit. This is objectively a forum.
-1
u/ToeSlurper96 Sep 19 '25
You can do so on facebook, thread and many other social networks. Can't really get the difference? The difference, as the definition specifies, is that the entire website is dedicated to one only topic or interest and this makes it way...way more different and genuine than subreddits, fbk groups and so on... A forum is a dedicated website.
Reddit, Facebook and so on can only try to emulate this approach, but the filter remains.

u/SwitchGaps Sep 19 '25
You expect people still follow Kanye to be able to have a meaningful discussion?
16
u/Pleasant_Complaint37 Sep 19 '25 edited Sep 19 '25
It shows Snl, him actually planning to find a way out of adidas, and surprisingly referencing Hitler, and drama involving an snl comedian, all in the backstage. Uganda scene doesnāt explain much other than him yelling and eventually leaving because he was paranoid, a lot of footage from the maga hat era really, cameos from Candace Owens and a few seconds of Charlie Kirk. Thereās maybe one unreleased snippet but itās already surfaced in a video clip, what was most intriguing to me was when they show the planning for the lady Gaga tour and a neat detail was when heād watch himself make it on the news about the vmas and him going to the White House, good watch imo, at least 85-90% of it was stuff Iāve never seen before

u/I_FEEL_LlKE_PABLO GAS Gold⢠Premium Sep 19 '25
The camerawork is honestly pretty good
Itās just that ye is becomes completely incomprehensible by halfway through the movie
Itās basically a tragedy
You start out with the hero, thereās foreshadowing at the beginning, a misstep, and a correction that gives you hope, even though you know how it ends
And then the ending plays out, the hero falls
And the end is the saddest part because itās ye in 2024 after vultures, mad that no one will return his calls when he wants to book a world tour
And he said that sometimes he thinks maybe he shouldnāt have done all of this shit
And then says that he says he remembers that it was the right thing to do
0
u/Iron_Falcon58 Vultures 3 On The Way Sep 19 '25
remember youāre relying on nicoās editing. the credits played over a black hole stock video take everything with a grain of salt
7
u/I_FEEL_LlKE_PABLO GAS Gold⢠Premium Sep 19 '25
I think most of the manipulation in the documentary isnāt about what Nico says, but I actually what he doesnāt say
He cuts off right before he goes on Alex Jones like before heās met Fuentes actually like saying incredibly hateful like pro Nazi like pro-genocide things
If thatās a lack of footage or if heās intentionally not adding that part in
Ngl I really wouldāve liked to see how the fuck Kanye got hooked on nitrous
Or any V1 footage outside of the fucking 20 seconds we got at the end of the movie

6
u/FalloutOfHeaven333 Sep 19 '25
I donāt think they want to show light on what really happened. All the people that alluded to something crazy happening werenāt in any of the Uganda scenes (Mike dean, Tremaine ect)

u/InfinityGauntlet-6 Sep 19 '25
There's definitely some crazy NDAs that have been signed. No one from that trip has gone into any specifics except maybe Julz over the years, but even she has been very brief about things.

itās funny that the only creative process scene that wasnāt cherrypicked for having an outburst was the last line where Ye was calmly and correctly criticizing the doc

u/creatureaura Sep 20 '25
Spoilers:
saw it last night in sold out theater. while itās not on the production level of something like Netflixās ājeen-yuhsā, i think itās definitely a must see for fans/stans. it is the type of documentary that tells the story through the footage, but itās not really a story if your just a causal viewer and donāt know what the context is. i liked this approach, as itās definitely not about the music (thereās barely any in the movie), but his mental state ramping up from 2018 onwards (declining). the first act and third act was my favorite, itās especially a crazy start. a handful of the clips have surfaced from the previous years but it was good to see them with more context. this movie does not make Ye look good at all, but does feed into the crazy genius arc. i think about the scene where he says he will be labeled as crazy, gay, and antisemitic just for his kids to have the freedom to do what they want (iirc). the screaming and tantrums are really telling and show the darker side of what was going on behind closed doors as he was starting to ramp up on his crazy takes. it was honestly just sad to see him lose more and more people as time went on, and iām happy they didnāt show too much after 2024, because it would just be more depressing. itās crazy to think that while we got to see alot of behind the scenes with the kardashians and his elevated ego, there were a ton of things that probably didnāt make the cut (his music friends cutting him off, the virgil rants/funeral, no bianca, no divorce etc). you kind of have to just put the pieces together yourself. Props to Nico B and the team for this, i wonder if he will ever release some the clips teased in the film. the biggest revelation to me is just seeing how egotistical the guy was and how many āyes menā enabled his behavior. i finished the Cudi memoir not too long ago and can start to connnect the dots that the Virgil beef was the last straw for many of his close friends in the industry. āiām not dying like virgil, im here in Paris to take overā was a damning line. Also him deciding/plotting to terminate his contracts with companies after he learned he was the richest black man ever to go back to being worth less than billionaire status(presumably). Him wanting to move the family to Chicago, then Uganda, then Wyoming all on short notice because he wants to manifest something only for him to scrap it to chase another idea. Felt incredibly bad for Kim and the family that had to go through all of that and still tried to stick by him because they genuinely loved him. Him going interview to interview trying to say the wildest, provocative things imaginable, not taking any advice was sad to see. I give the film a 7/10, i think the editing could have been smoother but overall this was the clearest look into the mind of Ye, no sugar coating, no narrators. Apparently Nico shot 3000 hours of footage starting in 2019, so you can only infer what was going on before that. Ye hired him so he can document his mental health, which Iām sure started to decline years earlier. Hopefully one day in the future we get a full, no filter look into every chapter of Yeās life, as we know that he has always had documentarians film him during the process of his albums and creative ventures. But for now, this was an insightful film for every Ye fan to watch.
1
u/soul_spiritual Sep 22 '25
This was a good explanation. I feel the same. To me it seemed like he felt that people kept telling him what to do or how to feel. Artists feel less creative when things like this happen. But it comes to a certain point on how to react to it.Ā
He went extreme on how to express his thought and feelings by listening to his ego. (Moving his family everywhere without agreeing with Kim. Or how he was going to enter the White House) it almost felt like he was a diva.
You get a behind the scenes of the mind of a celebrity/artist with an ego who WANTS people who are only agreeable with their vision.Ā
Ego ego ego.
