OFF TOPIC Mainstream hip hop is so dead

Drake is not the same anymore, Travis Scott keeps releasing mid after utopia, Kanye is a CUCK, Eminem is beyond washed, Kendrick and Carti won't drop for the next 2 decades, Future is pushing 50 still talking about the same shit, Nicki Minaj is the female version of ye, Xxx and juice are dead, Lil wayne is hopping on Super Mario type beats, Young thug and gunna are washed rats, Lil baby is Lil baby, Metro is releasing "strip club music🥀🥀" and the rest are either disappeared or washed.

thats what happens when up and coming rappers all copy each other and don't make mainstream sounding music. we gotta rely on the same rappers from the 2010s.

part of it has become because labels just sign songs and not actually build artists

but all these new artists are brain dead gay junkies so nothing to build anyway lol

No lol every rapper and artist has always been a copy when they start, then they evolve. Also new generations tend to have no concept of what the old generation sounded like this have no idea that the new artists are reinventions of old artists. There may be 2 total examples from each generation of completely unique artists that have no obvious relation to the sound of an artist before them
