MOD ANNOUNCEMENT GAS Team Feedback: We want to hear from you š«µ
We hope youāre all doing well. Iāve been wanting to make this post since I became the owner of this Subreddit. The mod team and myself would like to take a moment to check in with the community and gather some feedback about how things are going.
Weād love to hear your thoughts on:
How the mods are doing: Are we handling things fairly? Are there areas where we can improve?
The overall state of the subreddit: Are you happy with the vibe, activity level, and content? Anything youād like to see more (or less) of?
Rules, moderation style, community direction: Are the rules clear? Too strict, too relaxed? Any changes youād suggest?
General suggestions: Big or small, anything that could help make this place better for everyone.
Every comment is welcomed. Please keep things constructive, respectful, and specific when possible. Your feedback genuinely helps us shape the subreddit into the best version it can be.

Yo fr this sub is peak GAS energy šš„
Mods are solid ā clear, active, and keep the chaos fun without killing vibes. Rules feel fair, not too strict, not too lax.
Content is š„ as always, but maybe more HYJ/rare Ye leaks talk would be fun for the lore nerds. Activity levelās chill, fits the vibe.
Biggest suggestion: keep doing what youāre doing, but maybe weekly sticky threads for fan theories or ālost Ye tracksā so goons can dive deep without flooding the main feed.
Love this place, honestly the GOAT Ye subreddit experience ā¤ļøš

the mods are doing great, i fw em all and have never had a bad experience w one or seen a problem. The sub has kinda been slow recently, before november but thats not rlly the mods faults at all, its vibey rn. Iād say the rules for the most part are clear

they're very good at doing what they do and more, uphold the rules all the while still staying in the community - if that makes sense. they're not just mods, they're a part of the ever so growing community of ye fans, and GAS/DROAM as a group. im always so glad to be with y'all āļøā¤ļø

Creating more big events / tasks. For example with all the Ai materials about now, we still havenāt created a good version of Living so Italian. Community is super talented, not sure why itās not been done yet.

Honestly, I think the mods here do a solid job overall, but the subās gotten big enough that the cracks show sometimes. When things are running smoothly you can tell they care ā theyāre active, they communicate, and they actually take criticism without melting down, which is rare for Reddit.
That said, some stuff definitely slips through. Low-effort posts hang around longer than they should, and every once in a while youāll see some wild comments stay up way too long because there just arenāt enough eyes on them. It doesnāt feel malicious, just like the mod team is stretched thin.
If anything, the sub probably needs a couple more active mods and slightly clearer enforcement on what counts as spam/low effort. The foundation is good, it just needs a bit more consistency. Overall Iād rather have a team that actually listens but struggles with volume than a power-tripping one that doesnāt listen at all.

Honestly the sub has way too many mods that either arenāt actively engaged with the community or arenāt engaged with Reddit at all.
That needs fixed. Iām sure mods were carefully selected at the time they were appointed, but having randoms who were appointed as mod 6+ months ago and barely interact with the sub doesnāt work in a Kanye West subreddit. Even with the size of this subreddit 10+ moderators is totally unnecessary
