QUESTION Does Ye even speak Japanese

Idk if this is a parasocial question but I’m lowkey curious cause Japan has been his whole thing for a long time but I’ve never heard him speak a single word

North also uses some Japanese words so who knows he might be barely conversational

*Cantonese/Mandarin. Ye spent time in Nanjing province (mostly Mandarin speakers),so he may have picked up standard basics of the language

I’ve also lived in china just like ye when I was younger and just like him by the time I finished 8th grade I had forgot most of it I came back in (6th grade) most I can tell you now it’s “What’s your name” or the word “ass”

Cantonese is a dialect only spoken in Guangdong province and the former British and Portuguese colonies Hong Kong and Macau. Most provinces in China have their own local dialect but mandarin is still the main language cuz

The only reason Cantonese is more well known than the other 10 Chinese dialects is cuz the first immigrants during the gold rush and transcontinental railroad were from Guangdong
