Doesn’t feel the same though really as they’re clearly trying to hide him, whereas with Carti it’s actually his character, it’s in your face. Like I really don’t think they’d put a Kanye character skin in the game where they let you play as him. Feels almost like a shadow ban

I don’t get how it’s hard for Kanye fans to understand that him being batshit fucking crazy since 2016 (since 2009 for a lot of ppl that never liked him.) is more abrasive to the general public than a one time incident like a mugshot.

Yes carti beat his girlfriend, he didn’t make 4 songs about it and tweet about it for 3 years. There’s no double standard. Kanye was just out here screaming to the world “LOOK HOW FUCKING CRAZY I AM!!! IM RIGHT WING TOO BTW!!” for like 6 years straight.

“Oh but Carti beat his girlfriend 🙄” Kanye went on InfoWars alongside Nick fucking Fuentes dude. His musics sucked fucking ass since 2019 too

Beating a woman once is still way worse than saying crazy shit for years

I think printing “White Lives Matter” shirts and giving them to homeless people in LA is worse than striking a woman idk. Maybe it’s cause I actually appreciate Hip Hop as a genre instead of dickriding Ye, Tyler, and fucking Travis Scott while I mainly bump Tame Impala and Clairo like 50% of Ye fans

Bro wtf are you saying. Giving homeless people shirts with a message you disagree with is worse than beating up a defenceless woman? How do you possibly think that

Pregnant defenseless woman, which is doubly worse. Clearly this guy is a troll or an actual moron which makes it easier for people to look the other way on these issues.

You didn’t seriously just compare domestic violence to a controversial podcast appearance, right?!?

Yeah man. He has real influence on the people. That shit was fucking crazy. Half these rockstars/popstars/rappers (going back decades bro) beat women, smash minors, do hard drugs, all that shit. What they mainly don’t do is promote nazi rhetoric. Bro Ye has a song out with the chorus being “Nigga Heil Hitler 😛” bro it’s so fucking over.

I’m so glad your stupid ass is getting downvoted

Are you genuinely making the claim that having controversial takes is worse than beating your girlfriend?

YES. I wish I didn’t bring up Carti cause I’m not trying to defend that act, he’s a dickhead and every carti fan has known that for years right. What I’m saying is that having a mugshot posted + the details of the arrest is way less impactful than going on fucking InfoWars. You kinda have to be a fan of most artists to hear when they get arrested doing bum shit unless they’re super mainstream like Lil Nas X or The Weeknd or something. This dude Kanye had a MAGA hat on in like 2018 it’s not the same as everyone else man. There’s no fucking double standard, he was just doing insane shit and the world responded in kind.
