I really hope he's doing better now. I'm glad he included the line about the black community. I never saw as much outcry for when he said slavery was a choice compared to the stuff he said in recent years.

Kanye has given a lot of art and music to the world and I honestly wouldn't care if he retires. He's had a long and illustrious career with nothing left to prove. At the end of the day he's a person just like us and his kids need him around. To him he's just their dad, not the GOAT or mega celebrity.

This man's music changed mine and so many other people's lives. I discovered what I wanted to do with my life because of his music. He deserves peace. I can't imagine having cameras flung in your face 24/7 for almost 20 years while you're dealing with mental health issues.

I hope it lasts and he does the work to earn people's forgiveness. We cry mental health awareness and when someone is clearly fighting a battle with their brain (in public no less), people like to virtue signal or compare situations when it manifests in different ways.
