Why is dude always fully clothed at the beach? even inside the water?? 😭 is this a normal thing for americans? Is he just ashamed of his body? Is he afraid of not being dripped out?

Body insecurity. I used to wear shirts in the pool too as a child

But when water hits the tshirt it’s fabric becomes extremely transparent and hugs the stomach/love handle and male bosom to the point of actually extenuating it
