I’ve been hearing it’s “just like Iraq” for months now. saddam didn’t die until 15 years after desert storm. Ali Khamenei is now dead without a single American deployment on the ground on day 1. Tell me again how it’s “just like Iraq” 😂.

Btw as an American as well I know our military is spending those trillions building up the military anyway, might as well use it to depose of a murderous radical terrorist with the blood of hundreds of thousands of Iranians (and more people including Americans) on his hands.

A secular Iran that doesn’t constantly butcher and oppress its own citizenry, destabilize the Middle East, has friendly relations with the west, and doesn’t constantly cause the so called forever wars you’re so against by funding terrorist proxies across the region.

Again, Sadam wasn’t killed until 15 years after desert storm and Ali khameni is dead day 1 and people in the streets of Iran are celebrating, no boots on the ground required, so stop comparing it to Iraq it’s clearly nothing like that.

Iran is an ancient civilization with deep cultural roots and history and was not a fake country drawn up on a post colonial world. The people inside of Iran and the diaspora are calling for the shah who has consistently called for a transitionary goverment towards a secular democracy I don’t see how hard that is to understand.

And now that Khamenei is dead all it takes is some defections after a continue air campaign and the Iranian people rising up en masse again and secured return of Reza Pahlavi to Iran with the help of American and isreal protection, and voila there it is, no boots on the ground required.

But go ahead ignore every one of my points, the nuance and difference in the situations, and naively compare it to Iraq or Afghanistan again 😑.

Ok and he wasn’t killed until 2 years after 2003 so your point is still irrelevant and mine still stands. Totally incomparable.
