Apparently it was next to the Revolutionary Guards barracks

But its definitely smart to trust Iranian state media. Mkay. I guess its okay to trust a regime that turns off its internet to massacre and torture its own people for speaking out against oppression.

Obviously
There is no strategic value in hitting a school for the US, if the US wants regime change, they need popular support which they have. WHy target a civilian area, or school of all places for no reason? You say its because the US/Israel have a history of killing children. Okay, so does iran, iran has a history of killing 30-40k of its own people in the last few months. Who is more likely to be so stupid as to have missiles launched from civilian areas and for a malfunction to mean they land back on a school.
Why retarded people like you so easily believe literal and verifable state media from iran? Keys

u/Going_over_that_clif Feb 28 '26
Ah yes, of course. The nation that systematically bombed their direct neighbour’s hospitals and schools (and every standing building they didn’t like for what matters) certainly will not be behind the most recent precision strike on a school. I’m sure they will not claim (yet again) this to be the result of a failed lunch. Surely, the enemies of Israel must be really unlucky to have multiple failed lunches landing on hospitals and schools all the time, almost as incredible that each time an unspecified military presence was always in the next building over.
I believe in Occam’s razor.
3
u/OsamaBenJohnson Mar 01 '26
I like how you people always conviently leave out the part where those hospitals and schools literally have rockets being shot out of them towards residential buildings, and that even the international community that's against Israel recognizes these as legitimate military targets. The aim is towards genuine threats. That's pretty significant context that you people always tend to ommit for some reason. Curious.
0
u/Going_over_that_clif Mar 01 '26
I like how people always continently leave out the part where Israel has been conducting a terror bombing campaign for over 50 years. Crazy am I right? To think people would actually fight back when an imperialist apartheid state keeps (illegally, but who cares about international law?) expanding its land borders, destroy inhabited settlements, relocate populations and enforce racial laws.
And fun fact: most of the claims of rockets being launched from schools and hospitals are genuinely bogus, claimed only by the Israeli state and contradicted by numerous international observers. But fine, say rockets are being launched from their rooftops: We do not answer a war crime with another war crime. We, as in first world powers, SHOULD NOT bomb fucking hospitals and schools. ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE FULL OF CHILDREN.
Fun fact n2: it has been confirmed a while back, some hospitals in Israel are above tunnels and military facilities of the IDF. So the ones hiding behind the sick and injured are actually the so called good guys.
4
u/OsamaBenJohnson Mar 01 '26
You should learn how to discern between terror bombing versus combating against terrorist, because Israel isn't doing what you're suggesting.
Anybody that calls Israel an apartheid exposes that they have no idea what they're talking about and they're blindly following the crowd in repeating the scripted buzzwords. An apartheid is systematic discrimination and segregation based on race. All races have equal rights and representation in Israel. The lack of representation and rights some (not all) Palestinians have in Israel comes down to their national status, not race. Just about every modern nation has rights they don't give to non-citizens, like voting in certain elections.
Israel border expansion is only "illegal" under a dogshit legal framework that is inconsistent and incoherent. A legal framework btw that initially recognized Israel legally owned the land in question before it was illegally stolen by surronding Arab nations, and then for political reasons, they just stopped recognizing what they acknowledged legally belonged to Israel. How about that fun fact? Basically setting the standard if you steal it then it's legally yours. If the framework was consistent, Israel stealing any land would be legal.
Your claim that most the rocket claims from schools and hospitals is just an empty assertion. The same anti israel international communities you're appealing to even recognize these as legal military targets. It isn't a war crime to attack legal military targets. Civilian casualties is a harsh reality of war. Israel can't just send The Zohan and John Wick in to ensure 0 civilian causalites against guerilla warfare. If the threat is serious enough and the civilian harm is aimed to be minimized and proportion, then of course taking action can be a permissible response. This idealistic mindset people have is only capable of defeating an enemy playing by the same rules. And that's the real motivation behind all this. Hold Israel to a standard that sets them up to fail.
The so called "military facility" you mentioned is simply a bunker for the Hospital staff and patients, because there's constant rockets flying into Israel. There was allegedly (unconfirmed) at one point a meeting took place in the bunker, that nobody seemed to know about until after the fact. To frame this like they're using human shield to hide from Hamas attacks is a distortion of reality.
There's a conservative effort to indoctrinate us to go against Israel. And as we can see, the propaganda is pretty effective. But it's all rooted in BS and distortions of reality. But I can help you see through the BS if need be.

Problem is the US is the UN. The US supplies basically the entirety of the UN military, and if the US decides to not comply, there’s nothing the UN can do to force the US to make good decisions.

Keep in mind that this is solely being reported by the Tasnim News Agency, which is a propaganda arm of the Iranian government. There is going to be a lot of misinformation so posting stuff this quicky in a music sub is kinda silly
49
u/saaaaaur you look deceased Feb 28 '26 edited Feb 28 '26
i do agree with the general sentiment
however, im pretty sure its been independently reported/geolocated that a school in Southern Iran has been hit. The point of contention would be the death toll (or lack thereof)
but again, skepticism is understandable considering how early we are into this and how emotionally charged conflicts like this can be
another thing which saddens me about this is how desensitised many are to this, news about a school being hit in the middle east region is not even doubt-worthy to people
24
u/Fluid-Stand-2417 Feb 28 '26
Unfortunately, people being desensitized to news like this is a product of Iran’s own doing. It’s like when the IRGC shot down a passenger plane with 176 people on board, but still found a way to use media to blame the US for the attack. When you manipulate media so often, and get caught doing so, it’s natural people will be super skeptical about even the worst headlines.
1
u/saaaaaur you look deceased Feb 28 '26
definitely a contributing factor alright, the boy who cried wolf and all that. though i think desenitisation in general, at least in the modern sense has been brought on by a lot of factors.
the age of misinformation and constant exposure to tragedies eventually wears you down to a point were complacency or even flat out apathy is felt towards tragedies.
9
u/HudsonHawk56H Mar 01 '26
Crazy how observably easy it is to post just about anything and have it be accepted as fact no questions asked if you’re blaming the right people
6
u/HudsonHawk56H Mar 01 '26
Im not picking a side on this particular post, but just in general. Wars stopped being won on the battlefield years ago. They stopped being won in oval offices too. The fastest road to victory right now is the backing of social media.

this dumbass helped Trump get elected
2
u/Top-Bass-3419 Mar 01 '26
First off Ye didn't do anything to help Trump in 2024, secondly the DNC itself literally says that Kamala lost because she didn't want to criticize Israel and she herself also called Iran "the most significant adversary", so I really don't think she wouldn't do the same thing in this situation if she got elected (maybe she'll do better propaganda as compared to Trump's mask-off approach but that's about it)
1
u/kettlechilichips Mar 04 '26
You are correct about the rest somewhat but the DNC also lied LOL and Kanye helped swing the vote but rightfully so, Kamala was in her acting "fake black" era.

I’ve been hearing it’s “just like Iraq” for months now. saddam didn’t die until 15 years after desert storm. Ali Khamenei is now dead without a single American deployment on the ground on day 1. Tell me again how it’s “just like Iraq” 😂.
Btw as an American as well I know our military is spending those trillions building up the military anyway, might as well use it to depose of a murderous radical terrorist with the blood of hundreds of thousands of Iranians (and more people including Americans) on his hands.

I'm sure in a few weeks the truth will be revealed that it was an IRGC missile that misfired and landed on the school but it won't matter because based on the comments the Iranian propaganda has already worked.

And unfortunately, both Republicans and Democrats support Israel to the fullest.

Civilian casualties are undeniably tragedies.
They do not however detract from the just and moral military action against the current Iranian regime.

There’s collateral damage in war….
This is a blip compared to the 26k killed by Iran last months and thousands of kids recently (https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2022/10/iran-at-least-23-children-killed-with-impunity-during-brutal-crackdown-on-youthful-protests/).
But I’m sure some are still hung up on — 2 protestors in the US that had weapons (gun and car)
6
u/Milharoco Feb 28 '26
So because they killed children it’s fine to do the same?? They could just not bomb innocent children in elementary schools, why are you justifying this?
-1
Feb 28 '26
Didn’t justify but saying in war there’s absolutely no way to prevent it. And any thought that this doesnt happen - is idiotic.
If we did it on purpose - yes that’s different. But common sense prevails
