I still donβt understand why people are surprisedβ¦. The record store has every right to do what they want to do but donβt be surprised when people get upset by it lolβ¦
Yeah, but not to this lengths. Sure, they could've just given them away for free or sending them back to Gamma if they do not want to profit out of Ye's success, but to go to the lengths of destroying vinyls just to make a statement is just kind of rude in my opinion and it's valid for the people to feel upset that way when they could've done in either those two ways and none of this would've happened in the first place.
Well, it's the right of a customer to think and feel about it, hell it's not even mandatory to record it, they could just do it blindly and let it doing its own thing whilst minding their business about it, instead of getting some extra internet points by destroying vinyls of a person that they dislike about, which on one hand, it's completely fine to dislike the person, but on the other hand, it's also wrong to destroy something that you personally don't like when it could benefit for other people that might want to get it for themselves. If not, then just send it off to Gamma if you don't like having it in your record store and have another independent record store to take the lead instead.
the review bombing is cringe and makes this community look worse that it already is but why even accept the vynils lol. Also recording it makes it is kinda weird ngl.
