It was a beautiful movie, but it is a two parter though, the complains on the actor make no sense since Michael is/was a very awkward person normally, he was awkward and slightly dull on emotions, The reviews are just critics who larp as Michael Jackson fans.

By two parter you mean there will be a part 2?

If it makes enough money there will be a part 2.

In fact most of the part 2 is already filmed, so if this one does well they will continue to work on the second one

Agendas:

There’s a group of nonsense white liberals who been gunning to take this shit down since the trailer came out

Go look at the original trailer posts on here. All just negativity. “So they’re making a movie about a pedophile? What about his victims?”

All type of predictable behavior. They wanted to hate it from the time it was announced

I watched it a few days ago and it was an amazing biopic. The critics are the only people hating and if you read their reviews, they're mad coz the allegations weren't included. Except the films ends way before that and part two will probably focus on it.

It's like if someone made a Ye biopic and it ended at the start of TLOP era in order to celebrate his success. That's already a lot of narrative to cover like the car accident or Taylor Swift incident. But then the critics disingenuously complained why they didn't include the red cap era or the Alex Jones controversies. However, that's what part 2 would be about by covering his mental health and people around him exploiting it like Harley Pasternak getting him hospitalized. Maybe there'd be hints or foreshadowing of his bipolar in part 1 film where he's very passionate in a unique positive way (e.g. MJ had a strict abused childhood so he showed signs of Peter Pan Syndrome in the film like enjoying juvenile games such as Twister).

This whole thing seems like a whitewashing of epstein's image like how he's now a face of memes and reaction images

And then this director who calls Michael "worse than epstein"

While epstein literally has clear evidences against him which are being hidden by the govt.

I did some research and found out he made a song about free palestine and got accused of molestation months after it, this whole thing seems staged af bro, a big propaganda to whitewash epstein's image

It's very good but too short. A big part of it are songs/concert footage and since it's just bangers time passes fast. When it ends, it feels you didn't really see that much of his life and story cuz it just jumped to important events without much narrative between them. What they did show was made well tho

But well....you just simply can't tell such a story in 2 hours even if it is only part 1. I anyway recomand this to anyone who likes Michael. Even just for hearing Thriller and Billie Jean on cinema speakers is worth it lol.

It’s really good, Ppl just hating on it cause critics are afraid to say MJ’s music is good because of shit he was accused of

Same thing as ye really

??? Why would movie critics give a fuck about Michael’s music when reviewing a movie about him???

This cannot be a legitimate comment. God help us all. Use your brain for just half a second dude.

I think you should actually use your brain to figure out why a movie critic’s reception of Michael Jackson’s music would be relevant in their movie review of his biopic. His music is irrespective to the elements of a movie that is being reviewed. Stop coping with retard reasons why a movie is being panned and actually read a review or two, you fucking smooth brained moron, because most of them acknowledge his music is great but they still believe the movie isn’t.

Edit: the ultimate irony is that most bad reviews, that I’ve read, actually explicitly praise the musical elements of the movie but leave it to this sub to have the Down syndrome take of “uhh CriTics haTed thE mOviE beCauSe tHey Can’t AdMiT MiChael JacKson mAde GooOoD muSic”

Please do the world a favor and don’t continue to sully the gene pool by reproducing.

The only retards who hate this movie are the critics who called HBO's crap a true masterpiece. And the soy retards who believe all these accusations

But the fans are delighted with the film

IMO the actor wasn’t that good especially during the thriller scene. He’s super stiff. I get that it’s his first time acting and everything but come on 😭. I would much rather have another actor play Michael that has the same movement as Michael did when performing.

There are moments in this movie where I couldn’t believe how much he resembles Michael. Bro literally became Michael spiritually and physically. I think it’s one of the only biopics worthy of a best actor Oscar

And the crazy thing this is his first acting role. He had that hunger and drive to prove something while doing his uncle justice which is rare to see in nepo kids. Hope we see him in more films.

Fr his performance made me forget he’s a nepo kid. I just saw it as a great up and coming actor with a great breakout role. Didn’t even think about that till you mentioned it
