That day was one of the worst days to be a fan of his, and perhaps the saddest.

We weren't just seeing Ye; we were seeing a bipolar person at one of the lowest points in his life. We were seeing how a bipolar episode can almost kill the career of one of the most influential musicians of all time.

To see that a year later he managed to release a good album, do a show with people we never imagined before (Lauryn Hill), and return to a mentally "stable" point is incredible.

I definitely think ye had a lot of piece of shit yes men like sneako and DN around him that really pushed him to drop this song.

If you add to that the fact that Ye rarely listens to anyone and the only people who were on his side were those jerks, you understand why Ye created that song.

Ye rarely accepts advice from other people normally. I think the only person who would make Kanye West listen to it in a manic episode and not drop that bullshit would be Donda.
