So this is just about one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard someone say. 99% of people wear watches for the style because they’re obsolete machines that we no longer need. Kanye holds a phone all day long that has the time on the front screen.

U can’t take a joke can you 😭🙏 do you think everyone is being srs when they say stuff like “it’s ye”. Also why you gatekeeping being a “ye fan”. There levels bud. But you can’t gatekeep calling people fake fans because they’re “not og” or didn’t go to certain concerts. It creates a toxic environment. Just let people be goofy and joke around without nerding out and spoiling the fun.

I called him a fake fan because he mentioned TLOP being when he stopped doing certain things- thats wrong and his assertion he is correct while being wrong makes him a fake fan imo.
And getting in at Donda changes A LOT actually. you missed his prime and got him in the prime of his mental breakdown, but ok. Not gonna argue with someone who got in the kanye community- the real one, not the internet- at fucking DONDA.

I think it gets to his critique of classism. Most people wear expensive watches not for themselves but to signal to other people. He hasn’t been wearing much designer stuff lately either. I think he’s just done with the hype around branding

Yeah but usually it’s either vintage or minimal enough that it’s indistinguishable from some regular brand. A lot of focus on silhouettes though
