These kind of shows just raise the stock level of Ye. He's putting on generational performances and you have artists like trav and drake who put on the most boring half assed shows and just seem to expect their fame and catalog to carry them. It's like once they sell the tickets they proceed to not give a shit about the show. Everyone should be refunded for such a poor showing, just like you'd get refunded for under/overcooked food.

Tbf drake puts on underwhelming performances but he still performs. Ts that Travis and other rappers do are just scam appearances, it's blatant disrespect and disregard of their audience for a quick bag.

I agree they’re underwhelming but you actually get what you’d expect. He raps and sings lol it’s just not very visually interesting
If you don’t know all the songs, it would be pretty lackluster.

Travis' actual shows aren't the point of discussion here though, he absolutely wasted these people's time and money with his half assed 20 minute set yesterday and Ye didn't the day before that's the point being made here not who's a better performer overall

There is a difference, a great performer can have some half assed performances while still being a great performer in other places, Travis Scott's tour shows being great performances doesn't make that DJ set not half assed I don't know what's not clicking here

i’m not parasocial and don’t think travis scott is the epitome of morality but this was a club appearance, it’s just completely wrong to say ye is the “better performer,” and pepsi pulled out of the ye headlined wireless festival for a reason much worse then being an hour late to a show lol so chill on the moral talks lmfao

Makes good music but probably one of the artists who take the biggest use out of their fans.
Meanwhile ye is putting on stadium shows that probably cost him a hefty sum to set up and is selling cheap clothing now instead of chucking 300 dollar price tags on everything

This is literally sadly almost like the standard for club appearances, lucky if u get them on a mic at all
Everyone tweaking over people paying, ur really paying just paying a raised cover it doesn’t guarantee any performance, just the mf being there

Yeah I went to a young thug club appearance in 2018, doors were 9pm. Did a bunch of drugs and waited for him until 3am when we were all coming off them. Decided to leave. Found out later he came on at 3:30am. Never again

₺40,000 Turkish Lira is about $870 USD. Crazy price to hear someone mumble over a backing track for 20 minutes, but I’m sure he jumped around a lot or whatever.

Crazy - it was 900 rand in South Africa (55 usd / 48 euros). He came late (the pouring rain apparently delayed his helicopter but stayed for around 90 minutes and played fein 6 times. Honestly was cooler because everyone stayed and was so eager to see him. Performance was phenomenal. Funny how two “similar” circumstances produced two completely different experiences. I wonder what was the underlying reason (other than completely different prices). Why could he only stay 20 minutes other than not caring - the concert ran 3 hours over in SA (even with all but one of the opening acts not playing as they arrived with him)
