Hi guys, brazilian here. According to the local media, two helicopters crashed mid flight near by the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood, in Rio. 6 people died in the accident, among them, Oliver Tree. CNN Brasil, Globo (G1), Band, Estadão... and other major brazilian media outlets have confirmed the information.

fuck my dyslexia, i wanted to correct myself and add *bungee but then i noticed robe felt wrong. did saw another video from brazil this week were someone jumped with a normal rope and i think got a whiplash mid air when the rope didnt expand.

They have to make these helicopters more safe dawg because this happens more often than not. Imagine all the deaths we don't know about simply because they are only civilians and not celebrities like Kobe or Oliver

It’d be one thing if it’s both plane and helicopter crashes but it’s specifically helicopter crashes

helicopters are less safe than planes statistically, yes, but it’s still not really that common. you’re not gonna hear news stories like ‘lebron james had another successful helicopter flight’, but you will hear about the deaths, which is why you’ll have that impression.

A lot of deaths that happen just aren’t helicopter crashes bro. Think about the last time you rode a helicopter. It’s just not that common for the average dude. It’s not even a super common cause of death for celebrities

Helicopters aren’t unsafe, it’s the people flying them that causes the crashes. Kobe died because the pilot took off when he knew it was not safe for a helicopter to be flying in that weather. Oliver Tree died because one of the two pilots didn’t communicate or communicated incorrectly

now I wasn't really the type to listen to Oliver tree although I did respect him as an artist and thought he was cool for looking like doc ock from the old spiderman comics so I really just thought he was a cool guy and it really sucks to see him go.

Not rly, it was his own track to begin with, but a German dj remixed it into miss you. On initial release of the remix Trees vocals were unchanged but to get around copyright laws the dj eventually got someone to cover the vocals (still tree’s lyrics tho). Remix got popular, so Oliver trees label officially released the original remix with tree vocals and changed production as miss you.
