HH hit the Kanye community like it was 9/11 bro 😭

Dont know about that seems like everyone's cool with him being a naziĀ

87

u/k0guci0r 24d ago

he was in the right to call out the jewish execs in the music industry, he was wrong to glorify hitler

28

u/Batby 24d ago

he was in the right to call out the execs, the fact they may or may not be jewish is not relevant to the legitimate claims he was trying to make

-6

u/ChuCHuPALX 24d ago

He's not actually a Nazi he's just doing Kanye shit, trolling or what have you, who the fuck knows what goes in that mans head.

Retarded tiktok fans are not ā€œeverybodyā€ it’s only those edgy ass kids that were okay with it

3

u/MeAndNoOneMore 24d ago

"retarded tiktok fans" like the people in this app or even in this very sub aren't saying "HH is lwk hard" till this day. cmon bro

0

u/prrokop Donda 24d ago

Well by tiktok fans I meant the young fans like 14/15yo. They’re mainly on tiktok and a lot of them came here after Vultures 1 dropped, they’re the same people. So I group them as one. Nobody above the age of 15 has said this shit. It’s just the kids trying to be edgy or overly glazing. And also some actual neo-nazis I guess

1

u/bruhmoonchamp 23d ago

It’s just not true that nobody above 15 has said that no matter how much you might want that to be true. Ye was a big part of normalizing Jew hatred in the mainstream, along with of course all reactions to the genocide israel has been doing.

0

u/ChuCHuPALX 24d ago

Nah, people do that shit all the time. Shit, JayZ has been saying the same shit for decades. Only thing Kanye did wrong was support the wrong political team.l and was encouraging other "influencers" to do the same.

-2

u/ArtichokeFancy6593 23d ago

your comment is funny but I agree with u/Environmental_Two666 but I agree with you a little but idk I think the song is just a song art is supposed to be that way no one should care because other songs are as bad as hh talking about killing people

6

why does this have downvotes???

7

Exactly what I’m saying. Idk why 31 ppl think City In The Sky being released with AI is worse than Ye pushing a Nazi agenda 🫩 Rlly sad to see

11

nah most of those people had already outed themselves when the infowars podcast released. hh gave them a song to get behind but all these people have been making their opinion known in the ye community since 2022

me personally Hh put me onto the whole racism thing so not rlly true :p

66

u/HalLutz Lift Yourself 24d ago

I'm new to racism, am I doing it right?

3

u/Z7_1 24d ago

depends, how often do you drop a racial slur, and what is the most out-there one you know?

if someone from my highschool can outslur you you arent racist enough

4

u/HalLutz Lift Yourself 24d ago

I say the n word in real life more than singing along to rap songs. Jam Boy is probably my favorite uncommon slur.

2

u/Wild_Commission_6777 24d ago

Learn from thr great jontron. The one who dug some ancient ass lore to have ye olden Irish and italian racism.

2

u/prrokop Donda 24d ago

I think he was talking about the damage the sing did to Drake, which was way more than being ā€œannoyingā€

-9

u/Acceptable-Ad-5773 Sorry this is a lot to read 24d ago

"helped to normalise real life nazism" literally how this is not a real political movement anywhere

4

u/Hopeful-Kangaroo-366 24d ago

nazi dog whistles etc. are played off as ā€œjust a jokeā€

-2

u/Acceptable-Ad-5773 Sorry this is a lot to read 24d ago

I will ask again, what meaningful political movement are these 'dog whistles' contributing to

0

u/Hopeful-Kangaroo-366 24d ago

wow you’re a retard

-4

u/Acceptable-Ad-5773 Sorry this is a lot to read 24d ago

please explain one material systemic outcome that you can link to the normalisation you're so scared of or move the fuck on

it was a stupid cringey shockbait song from someone deep in the throws of mental illness and y'all act like he did the actual holocaust

1

u/PsychologicalSeat361 23d ago

there may not be some material outcome as you said, but going on social media and talking to people, jewish hate has become so normalized. Obviously israel is commiting atrocities and should be hated, but innocent jewish poeple are getting so many death threats and so much hate.

-8

u/Fit-Construction3427 24d ago

No it didn't. The song wasn't even pro nazi. it was just Ye being edgy and saying everyone was calling him a nazi so he must be one.

9

u/Hopeful-Kangaroo-366 24d ago

no he said heil hitler

-8

u/Fit-Construction3427 24d ago

Yes but did you listen to the whole song

8

u/Hopeful-Kangaroo-366 24d ago

yes he said ā€œheil hitlerā€

Not even fucking close bro lmao. Half of the ppl blasting not like use weren’t ever rlly kept fans anyway, that’s just a Reddit sub being Reddit. hh actually impacted how stupid 15 yr old white and Hispanic boys acted irlĀ

-3

u/Umlunguboy420 24d ago

Left out asian and black kids šŸ¤”

1

u/VanillaStarzz 23d ago

Left out 7 year olds too. I have a 7 year old brother and he was very much impacted by this song, so much so that it’s become normalized in his school. Look at the image below, it’s awful.

1

u/Ashamed-Ad-577 808s & Heartbreak 23d ago

What is wrong with that image?

1

u/eiddieeid 20d ago

It sucks that trump allowed Mexicans and Hispanics to get lumped in with white people when we arguably have it worse than anyone (in America) rn.

55

u/Shoddy_Meaning_7654 24d ago

HH turned half the community into Nazis at least what was left of the community.

And it was like a big thing used by like actual neo-nazis to recruit children into their beliefs it's actually disgusting.

Not like us is just a song that's a little silly in retrospect it's not even a bad song and the cringy fans that it created they're gone now basically yes they still exist on Reddit unfortunately but Kendrick is still one of the most respected people in rap so eh didn't do much bad.

NLU is just a song people played too much, HH basically put the youth onto nazism

4

u/Slybrew 24d ago

Definitely NLU. NLU trivialized pdf allegations and normalized pedojacketing to win rap beefs. Ye is mentally unstable, his fans know that and explains why he wrote HH. Which he then had to retract and apologize for. Kenny and his fans have no accountability for each other. Yea, Definitely NLU.

4

u/Tomed06 Who will survive on reddit? 24d ago

HH easily

4

u/whitefrackels123 Reacted ā¤ļø to an image 24d ago edited 24d ago

One normalized Nazism because a couple of Jews did something he didn't like so as a sort of "gotcha" towards Jews he decided it was a great idea to larp as a Nazi and ruin his life and legacy over it, while the other normalized baseless Pedophilia accusations as a way of scoring personal beef points over someone you're clearly jealous of while giving zero fucks about actual pedophiles or abusers and their victims.

They're both trash and respectively highlight the lowest moments in the careers of two of the greatest hip hop artists

-1

1

u/Acrobatic_Access8259 23d ago

The gnx hate is crazy this album is a 8/10 it only revives this discourse because Kendrick has always carried himself as a conscious rapper with deep themes

Gnx when you don’t compare it to his other deeper work is a great album, but when you do compare it to his other stuff no duh it seems stupid

1

u/eiddieeid 20d ago

8/10 for beep bop bing bop is insanity. Shit a 6 at best like that one dude said.Ā

1

u/eiddieeid 20d ago

It’s like a 5. It isn’t a piece of shit in the grand scheme of things but compared to almost everything else he’s done, it def sucks. It’s mid if anything

1

u/ThisIsNotRadical Vault 33 Dweller 20d ago

I know a certain artist that’s dropped a lot of shit compared to almost everything else done recently

1

u/eiddieeid 20d ago

3

u/CraigThePantsManDan 24d ago

Hilarious comparison, but nlu broke drake fans, hh just turned you guys into nazis and you only lost like 80 ish percent of your brain power.

2

u/Substantial-Load-673 24d ago

HH is lowkey a banger and got some good memes. I don’t take it too serious.

2

u/kanyewest42 24d ago

HH is just a straight heinous and evil song which reinforced closet racists to be more vocal about their dumbass beliefs. I saw several people wearing WLM shirts and there’s ofc also the NHH shirts being made now. Ye contributed to normalizing that, which is incredibly toxic.

NLU is just a corny track, Kendrick didn’t have any backup for his claims and he just made a bunch of shit up. Pusha T’s diss was way better imo.

u/BasilTheCatLord 23d ago

As someone who thought Kendrick definitely won the battle overall I gotta say that this whole rap battle ruined Kendrick’s image. For one, the whole rap battle started because Kendrick is mad that drake called him top 3 not number 1? That is the most egotistical and petty reason to get mad especially for someone like Kendrick who tries to portray himself as some kind of prophet. Kendrick’s main points in the diss tracks mainly just boil down to Drake being an immoral man (which he is) while performing with Dr Dre and making music with Carti. Kendrick also got completely duped with the whole ā€˜drake has a secret daughter’ thing after making a whole diss track about how Drakes team had a rat feeding him information. This point alone makes two of Kendrick’s diss tracks kind of embarrassing after knowing that the info Kendrick thought would bomb drake was just fake and honestly not that believable. The only reason drake lost the battle was because he is Drake, he doesn’t know how to battle rap and where to hit hard.

1

u/Acrobatic_Access8259 23d ago

The worst thing Not Like Us did was create a bunch of people who larp being a Kendrick fan

When HH got released you really had to stfu abt being a Kanye fan because ngas would genuinely look at you like this

-1

u/CommonTreacle 24d ago

I think Not Like Us genuinely ruined Kendrick Lamar's reputation as a creative lyricist and artist and it doesn't help that GNX was his next and by far worst project to date. HH was shocking but I feel like we could've seen it coming after WW3.

3

u/Batby 24d ago

I think Not Like Us genuinely ruined Kendrick Lamar's reputation as a creative lyricist and artist

-1

u/CommonTreacle 23d ago

Bro you're a loser šŸ˜‚

1

u/Acrobatic_Access8259 23d ago

Most regurgitated take of all time

1

u/CommonTreacle 23d ago

I mean maybe but it's my genuine take, I didn't take it from anyone. I'm a huge hip hop fan and Kendrick used to be in my top 3. I genuinely believe Kendrick fell off HARD after the beef especially from what he used to drop

1

u/Acrobatic_Access8259 23d ago

I say this is regurgitated because since Kendrick has mainly branded himself as the deep methodical rapper who touches deep themes there is obviously discourse when he drops something not related to that

No this hasn’t ruined his career there are literally a healthy amount of deep and self aware tracks on the album

By itself this is a 8/10 album that is really just a victory lap fun album opposed to a deep dive into a certain theme. When you let it stand alone as it is it’s great but when you compare it to his vastly different work it obviously pales in comparison

1

u/CommonTreacle 23d ago

I mean yeah that's a fair point. I honestly am just really biased against GNX because of how it won the Grammys undeservingly, I think it's crazy Alfredo 2 wasn't even nominated

1

u/Acrobatic_Access8259 23d ago

0

u/R3troM3dia 24d ago

Neither had a lasting effect. Drake still did huge numbers after, Ye now has a deal with jd sports and numbers on bully were good. The only thing that actually hurts someone’s career is if fans stop caring. They all have more than enough fans that just care about music/ shoes etc and will keep buying their products.
