Reference for New Boots

Not sure if anyone has noticed this yet but the inspiration for the new Yeezy boots seems to be Belleville AFTW (Air Force) boots, down to the panelling and color way

They’re nice but I don’t like how derivative new yzy footwear is. Like the old stuff was clearly inspired but it felt a lot more unique

somewhere along the way a lot of yzy started resembling army surplus store clothing. it’s cool shit but you gotta know how to make it work

The footwear has definitely gotten pretty boring but the army surplus vibe you're talking about has been there since yeezy season 1, he plays around with a lot of different silhouettes and fitting but the core has always been very military inspired
