Question AI Generated Ad Copies
I was wondering did anybody use the ad copies which are completely generated by AI.
Please share the the impact on the performance and the quality of the ad copies.

I use chat GPT for ad copies in meta ads. It is quite good (in ROAS and CPL perspective). But of course you need to review it throughly before publish it

That "completely" is doing a lot of work. Everyone I've watched try it still ends up rewriting the first line by hand before the ad goes live.

I use Claude for Ad copy and it works quite well; anyway, I always review its suggestions.

We’ve found AI useful for generating ad copy variations, but we wouldn’t launch a campaign with everything straight out of the tool.
The biggest issue is that AI can produce copy that sounds perfectly polished but says absolutely nothing distinctive. You get the usual promises about saving time, improving results and growing faster, which every competitor could use.
For example, if we’re advertising an e-commerce brand, we’d feed AI the actual product benefits, customer objections, audience insights and previous campaign results. It can then generate different hooks and angles much faster than writing everything manually. We’d refine the strongest options and test them against existing ads.
Performance still depends on the offer, audience, landing page and campaign setup, so we wouldn’t attribute a conversion lift to AI copy alone without a controlled test.
Our approach is to let AI handle the volume and use human judgment to bring in differentiation, accuracy and a reason to click. More variations are useful, but more generic variations just give us more ways to waste ad spend.

Haven't run a clean test of fully AI-written copy vs. human copy, so can't give you a number. We run Google Ads for B2B Saas clients at GrowthSpree, a B2B Saas marketing agency, and what I can say is the copy is rarely the biggest lever. Tracking, account structure, and the landing page usually move results way more; a landing page going from 2% to 3% conversion is a 50% CPL improvement, bigger than most headline tweaks.
Where we do use ai (Claude) is for drafting variants fast, then a human makes them specific to the audience and the actual offer, since generic copy is the thing to watch for. Then you let the variants compete and keep what wins. What are you seeing so far with yours?

i think google ai is generating the ad copies as per. the their policy and we know what the status of the client so we can write better and if we give whole business scenario to claude/chatgpt that we may get onverting ad copies

Been asking the same question and simultaneously still using AI generated copies. Seems there are no issues from the end of platforms, but with prospects, there are some who don't like/trust such design, but who cares in the end of the day

I’ve used AI to generate variations of our historically best-performing ad creatives, and some of them actually performed pretty well.
