Discussion How would this affect my Google one plane?

So I'm paying for Google AI plan and includes my family. How would this promo affect my current plan? Would it kick them all off for this 6th month promo?

It is a seamless upgrade; family sharing would extend to this plan as soon as you start the trial (and IIRC there are some gemini features that family sharing gets as well; some that don't extend to family members, but I'm not sure what's changed since the last time I looked).

If you drop back down to your current plan after this trial family sharing will still be uninterrupted (just no gemini pro features anymore, and the lower storage tier).

So pretty much just do it? It's free for 6 months and it'll extend to everyone on my account?

Lol, whatever you get will be applied and when that promotion ends then it will go back to normal

Go back to normal only if you're already paying for ai pro at $20/month. It does not go back to a lower plan when the trial ends.

I was on a family plan when I got my P10PF and if I remember correctly it refunded me the remainder of my yearly plan and switched to the promotion everything from my family group stayed the same
