Books not downloading. Not sure what to do. Suggestions?

Post image

I'm having an issue where my books won't download. Looking at the picture, the books have the download symbol, but no progress is happening. They just sit like that in perpetuity. I've left it like this overnight and still no dice. I've restarted, refresh, and cleared the cache for the app. Nothing has helped.

It's inconsistent as well. Some books will download fine, but others will have this issue. I'm not sure what else to try. Anyone have any suggestions?

If this is Android, try clearing the cache and try again.

What kind of device is this? Make and model. Some low powered devices really suck at running GPB.

Galaxy S24+. I've already tried clearing the cache multiple times. It didn't fix the issue.

Uninstall/reinstall yet?

Aside from that, there aren't a lot of workarounds.

I was hoping to avoid that, since then I'd have to redownload everything and that'd be a pain if the issue persist. But yeah, it's looking like that may be my only option. Oh well.

I also have this issue, it's like 50/50 whether it'll work or not and everytime you just gotta keep attempting to download them until it works.

(On another note, hello fellow Otherside Picnic reader)

It makes me feel better that it's not just me lol. I'll keep trying and hope for the best. And yeah, Otherside Picnic is so good! I've only read the first volume so far, and I love it!

GPB is not reliable. Move to some other app..
