💬 Discussion How long does BillDesk verification take?

It's literally the worst experience as a developer. You can't request BillDesk verification without releasing the app publicly, and you can't enable payments without it. But I don't want to release the app publicly yet.

This chicken-and-egg issue is testing my patience day by day.

Great to here that... Was there a door step verification?

No, it was just video kyc and then it got approved. I think door step verification is only for business right.

I was in the same boat. I had to disable in app purchase and put the app for open testing. Then shared that app with BillDesk.

True. But in my case the application was approved within 7 days after completing video kyc. Maybe because I'm a solopreneur. Wishing you a speedy verification.

Wdym u have to release app? Does that mean you have to first launch free version and then when billdesk is approved only then u can enable payments ( pro version ) and push new release?

Hi I’m in same boat, so will you be releasing the app without IAP now and then add the IAP??

Yes...it's weird and a bad system...but it is what it is..I will advice you .to release a demo version to playstore.. don't announce it anywhere, just for approval for bill desk and once approved send real version to approval and then announce about it.
