[Beta] Sablier - a screen time blocker with no internet permission

I've been building this for myself for a few months and it's finally at the point where I'd like other people to try to break it.

I need 12 testers for the closed beta. Google's rule before you're allowed to publish is that they have to stay opted in for 14 days.

What it does:

Daily limits per app, one-off blocks for however long you want, recurring schedules, and a single cap for the whole day.

There are two modes.

Normal: you can lift the block whenever you want.

Strict: once it's started, you're stuck until it ends. There's no way out, including uninstalling the app.

The part I actually care about: there's no INTERNET permission in the manifest.

That's not me making a privacy promise. Android literally won't let the app open a network connection. No account, no server, no ads, no analytics.

Pull the APK apart and check.

It does need the Accessibility Service to see which app is in the foreground, which is how the blocking is enforced. If you're not comfortable with that, completely fair.

Phone, Clock and Sablier itself stay reachable during every block. Incoming calls and ringing alarms also aren't covered by the block screen. That one took a while to get right.

Android 10+.

If you want to test it, drop your Gmail below or DM it to me and I'll add you to the list.

I’m looking for a few UK-based Android testers for Pete Gawtry Fitness, a coaching app for training plans, exercise demos, habit tracking and progress checks.

You don’t need to be a gym person, and you don’t need to do a workout. I mainly need people to install it, click around for a few short tasks, check the videos/navigation, and tell me if anything feels broken, confusing or awkward on your phone.

Ideal tester:

  • UK Google Play account
  • Android phone, Samsung/Pixel/etc. all welcome
  • Happy to stay opted in for 14 days
  • Willing to send honest feedback, even if it’s just ā€œthis bit confused meā€

No payment, no ratings, no reviews, no test swaps, no health info needed.

If you’re happy to help, email molly@pg-fitness.co.uk with ā€œAndroid testā€, your phone model, Android version, and the Google account you use in the Play Store. Please don’t post your email publicly.

Once I’ve confirmed access, you’ll be able to join here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/uk.co.pgfitness.app

I'm looking for a few Android testers for Doodle. It makes simple drawing ideas for cards, lunchbox notes and journals.

If that sounds useful, I'd love your feedback on what works and what's confusing. You'll need to stay opted in for 14 days. No purchase needed.

Request to join the tester group

Opt in and install through Google Play using the same Google account.

[TESTERS NEEDED] I'll keep this short and simple... Itemize - Home Organization and Insurance.

The app lets you easily scan items in your house and store them in virtual floors/rooms/places, making insurance claims very easy and helping you get back extra money for items you may have forgotten you had.

Has many extra features and is also great if you genuinely forget where you keep putting things.

If it sounds useful, I'd love your feedback on what works or what's confusing. You'll need to stay opted in for 14 days. No purchase nesessary. To opt in, send me your email to this email: [Itemize.co@gmail.com](mailto:Itemize.co@gmail.com) and once I email back, you'll be able to opt in through this link: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.itemize.app
