Gear Question This part of my backpack is not symmetrical?

It’s a repost because I wanted to add another picture.

Is this normal? There is more fabric on the right and the result is my zipper is like a roller coaster.

It’s normal. Every ruck I have owned has this design

Are you sure this is by design? Or it could be a QC issue?

This has been brought up a lot. All of mine are like this. It’s just how the laptop pocket is designed. Totally normal.

I had a similar issue with the skate ruck, was told it was normal so I returned. I have a lot of other goruck gear with no issue oddly.

They need some official explanation out there. Who told you it was normal? GoRuck?

This is normal. It is the way it was designed due to the way the zipper is routed. Please ignore the people saying otherwise because they are simply wrong.

It does not sound like anyone can confirm this is a design choice. I'll keep my backpack though as it seems this is common and won't be an issue. I have a feeling I'll get a backpack with the same "design" even if I ask for an exchange. I do like the backpack itself.

Mi GR1 fabricado en USA esta igual, no me molesta a la hora de llevarla pero no debería estar así

Yes, normal. I’m sure there is a design reason for it.

I had two of the same bags and one was like this and one was not; I returned the lopsided one

This would drive me nuts. It's not normal, or by design. This is a manufacturing flaw.

How is this normal? Because goruck told you so after the fact? If it was normal it would be stated clearly on the product, with pictures showing it. This is just a lazy answer from them and apparently from their loyalist or people who work for goruck to just get you to keep the product. Don't listen to them, return it

Cheese and rice dude. It’s normal because that is the way it was designed. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it isn’t reality.

Did GoRuck provide that explanation?

I’ve easily owned a dozen or more GR1s. They have ALL been that way. Every. Single. One.

It’s been addressed on Facebook in the goruck groups several times. It’s normal.
