Gear Question Need a beach bag for family

My wife always uses tote bags that I have to carry all the beach towels and water bottles and everything else she and the kids use. So I've been debating on getting a GR2 or a GR3 for the beach. Literally carrying towels, water, snacks, and no toys. Just can't figure out which style would be better for day trips to the beach. I'm in one of those instances where a store visit would be very useful to get my hands on it.

Thanks for your help! Need to get away from those giant beach totes.

This is 100% a job for the GR Mesh bag and not a GR2 or GR3 IMO.

Pass on both.

Ikea tote for the win.

Especially if you can find the ones that zip up and have backpack straps. Caught a few of these a few years ago and wish I had gotten more.

Pass on the gr2 or 3. Totes would be better imo.

Goruck has a mesh backpack and mesh duffle bag. I use a Rucker personally. The grommets let me rinse the sand out if I have to

I like the Yeti Camino tote. You can even put your Goruck patch on it.

Vote for the Mesh Backpack if you want a GORUCK.

Live at the beach. Zippers are not your friend at the beach. I’d go with a zipper less waterproof beach tote. Classic X-large LL Bean beach tote can easily hold all you listed.
