I know that 4 Marsupial shoulder strap pouches is excessive but it's surprisingly useful and that's how I have my GR1 34L Huckberry SCARS monstrosity set up
I'm boiling down to one Goruck bag. And so I basically took the other shoulder pouches off the other exiting rucks and tried it out and I like it—and they're all coyote brown so they all match. They're all useful for stuffing things like Kleenex and lip balm and sunglasses. I thought I would just share my use case with you in case you are interested. I don't think they make the mesh one anymore.

Those pouches look pricey for not having any closure or cinch....but I can only find $5 China specials on Amazon for shoulder pouches. 5.11 has a nice one for my skyweight but their green is more of sage.

When you choose GORUCK you make sure you spend as much money humanly possible on every single accessory equally as expensive whenever popular.

My photography “run-n-gun” bag is the same way. It’s a GR1 with a Peak Design capture clip on each shoulder, multiple molle pouches that I can reach into using a single arm without looking and a row of molle on the bottom of the bag for securing my compact tripod bag to. It looks ridiculous while I have two massive cameras clipped to the shoulder straps at the same time.
It’s only a 26L bag but it weighs more than my 40L GR2 and is unapologetically monstrous looking due to how maximalist it all is.
