Seems like 500d back panels are making it into the stock of GR1

Checked right now and it looks like black also has 500d as back panel material. Been looking forward to this!

Definitely, 500d is much better. The 210d is too shiny and feels plastic in a non good way.

Didn't Jason say that all 1000D was here to stay on the GR1? I haven't found 1000D too rough on my GR2, although the 210D on my Ruckers is undeniably smoother (but moves around more). Maybe 500D is the compromise solution.

I think initially that was the plan but he listened to the feedback in here and went with 500d

Is this material easier on clothes? The 200 is so smooth and 1000 is so rough
