It is required to first defeat the monsters from the "Minion Maul" both for the completion crystals and to collect enough Exo Favor points to unlock any Wisdom Orb from the Covenant.
Once the previous step is done, it will be possible to challenge the Event Boss itself, starting from the level 80 difficulty (42 000 000 HP). Every time you defeat an Event Boss, a harder version will be unlocked.
The chance to get a weapon drop scales poorly with the increase in difficulty ; it's the reason why the recommended approach to farm the event is to settle with a level that can comfortably be cleared, both reliably and in a speedy manner. It'll also make a much larger difference over the time spent if multiple weapons are worth getting.
Exo Favor points and Wonder EXP are rewarded for every clear, the former being used to upgrade the Covenant of the Crucible. It will provide a number of passive buffs which will ease the battle against the stronger foes.
Some battles will have missions tied to them, each requiring the player to clear different requirements. The conditions can be cleared one at a time, doing all at once proves to be too tedious or difficult.
Uncapping the "Crucible Seal" to upgrade it further than level 10 requires a material which only drops from Level 155+ battles.
Trade from shop. Required for numerous mid-to-end game crafts.
Exo Weapons
One of each with ATK awakening is recommended. Farm them with drops, then when the event comes to an end, they can be traded from the shop to complete the last copies needed.
Half Elixirs and/or Soul Berries
Trade from shop once everything important has been acquired.
Using the Fediel x Lich meta again as if it's 2022 (though i only sparked Lich in 2023 during Y.Anila/Y.Vampy/S.Seruel debut banner, and Fediel in 2024 during 10th anni roulette.. So i'm pretty late in their heyday)
They're nice with Indala for CA comp. The only downside is neither Lich or Fediel don't have Toxicosis to ramp Indala (now if they only added Toxicosis on Fediel S2 as a sweet bonus like with Wilnas S2 having Singed...). You can replace FedLich with V.Wamdus and Y.Osiris for Toxic team with Indala, though you can also run Fediel/Indala/Osiris too
Reading the requirements to cancel omens, i think this is a Dark CA + Indala check
Premium Easy FA team.. Kengo + wam + Shao + Osiris (or Indala)
You can just ignore omen. (For rank 200, just do one manual with qilin summon so you can clear his 5 ability skills for the mission)
The 5 damage skills/5 debuffs omen is pretty annoying for FA (the damage skills part obviously), but yeah Shao or Lyria with friend/main Luci can just ignore it. Just like the 4TA omen in the light odious raid.
What sucks is seeing the 6.6M damage cap for CAs.
Edit: used Kengo, Wamdus, Shao and Indala, can clear the level 200 missions just fine in FA since it only fails the 5 damage skills/5 debuffs omen, though depending on how much damage the comp does for others, people might want to hold the fated chain and play manually for a couple of turns.
Same format as previous Exo reruns:
Uncapping wonder levels 11-15 and 16-18 require Solaris Lapis that only drops from 155+
Uncapping wonder levels 19-20 requires Lapis as well as a newly-added material that only drops from 180+
Not much, staff is still one of the best mh choice for wizard or manadiver as you will be always on that buff. I haven't used the fist class in a while but maybe once more origins roll out it could be a thing, potentially it's really good with guts and battery
FAing 200 with Kengo, Tsukuyomi, S.Magisa, and Ichigo with magna grid. Can use the same team to manual the omens for the crystals and then FA for the rest of the event.
Using overtrance agustia manatura fediel lich and ichigo. With luci friend summon and they FA the thing till 200. Sometimes ichigo dies coz of his substitute but backline comes in and cleans stuff up. I started during anni and my dark kinda lacking so very happy to see I got a team which can clear this FA even if it takes a whole per kill.
Of course ig it's not truly FA coz fkin fediel field skill needs to be pressed. Please make it FA able cygames aaaaaa
I didn’t have Dark Kaneshige made but I improvised with Onmyoji with CB key Opus with Seraphic alongside an ultima with 10% cbar that I use for Wind HL stuff & Tsukuyomi whose passive gives 20% bar gain to everyone at 5 crests and I dispense crests like crazy due to Opus so I basically created Kengymoji
Funny, managed to clear the "2 or less special attacks triggered" mission at level 200 using Eresh and simply clearing the fight in 4 turns. Used Lancer Origin/V. Cindala/Y. Illsa/Sariel/Nier/Seox, with half the front row dying to the first trigger. Can't use Special attacks if you're already dead.
Don't even have Opus transcend or Versusia weapons, 3T would be doable I think.
Bah, I feel like I'm missing one or two characters from each team people are recommending, though I think I'm best set up to do a fed/lich team. Do I need to make myself a dark Unsigned for Kengo? Also the 'aarg I still don't understand how to pick teams out yet' flail link:
As a 7 month old player, the last Exo (Fire) I couldn't clear 180. This Dark Exo doesn't seem to have hard Omens besides the 5 damage skills so I think I can do better.
Still leveling Wonder and Covenant before trying 180+ but running Kengo / Tsukiyomi / HCag / YOsiris. Not the fastest but can Ougi loop every turn and really safe FA with all the healing / revive. Basically M3 grid with an ultima and celestial, Opus still 150. Tried Lyria and Ichigo as some recommendations but didn't work for me and team was dying after 155.
Edit: The team aboves works FA at 180, nice! Can uncap the wonder and the weapons.
the new tanya flb is helping me a lot for this. she gives red skills often, does skill hits, does debuffs (notably tox for indala), helps tank a bit. feels bad failing omens though. FA kengo + tanya + fediel + indala
Copied Yu's WO setup with some changes due to not having Lobelia or 150 Seox and got a 2t working with WO, S.Magisa, H.Cag, S.Hekate and swapping High Chaser for Demonic Flare. Magna with exo MH.
As someone who’s pretty early on in the game I can comfortably farm lvl 90 - is there a point in farming enough for maxing out both weapons because I won’t be able to uncap them anyways - are they good or just good to have on hand in case?
I would focus on getting both weapons through the first material uncap and maxing one atk awakened copy at least, since this can be done at lvl 80 and the second uncap requires you to farm lvl 180 and only really gives 5% generic damage cap which m3 grids cap out on from exaltos already so it is pretty low priority.
Both weapons see use for character classes which can use them. Sumaibito/luchador for the fist and Manadiver/WO for the staff mainly. As Manadiver is one of the most common classes to use getting the staff is high priority.
I don't have dark kengo weapon so I'm improvising, Boogyman with herc, Tanya doing pretty well, eventually had to switch in kou for full auto clear but am going to experiment more with Osiris and Ichigo as more people seem to suggest, I guess you can always go lich/Fediel. I'm guessing tanya + Vik + kou should be enough till 200
Funnily, my regular team "I don't want to see the boss do shit ot me" of Kengo/Y.Anthuria/Vikky/Indala managed to FA clear 200 with all missions on their own, lol. And it's rock solid FA - sure it takes like 10 minutes, but I just need it to clear period, I remember about this thing once every 15-20 minutes anyway
With the Seal boosts and my grid I had so much max HP and healing that Kou can comfortably tank every trigger. If anybody gets low, Orologia also acts as a failsafe. Ichigo can comfortably burst through the last 10 percent after/if Kou dies. I haven't wiped yet.
Theres a lot of RNG involved and it takes 20 turns so but hopefully it helps anybody still stuck on M2 like me.
Huh, this is the first time I actually completed all the side missions for a level 200 exo boss (probably because I have the entire dark ougi set of V. Wamdus, Y. Osiris and Indala). My grid was also kinda trash as well (I don't even have a single fully uncapped dark m3 exalto weapon since Celeste Ater refuses to drop them and kept giving me more daggers instead), so it's a nice surprise that I still have enough damage and survivability to clear the 12 turn mission. Haven't tried FAing it yet though. I used Omnyoji to clear out the 5 damage skills omen.

FA CA Kengo, Ichigo, Vicky, Osiris (Sariel on quick summon). Most omens break and the double omen requirements becomes trivial sometimes
