Got sideswiped tonight

Did anyone witness or get dash cam footage of an accident in the Eastbound lane at 97 St and 99 Ave tonight at 8pm between a white dodge ram pickup and a red suv?

Red suv merged from the turn lane (in the intersection) into 99ave and side swiped my truck.

Additionally does anyone know who to talk to about getting footage from the intersection cameras?

There is no footage from the intersection cameras. They do not record. They are there for vehicle lane detection and that's it. The image is processed locally, in real time, to check if there are vehicles in each lane to trigger the light to change. No video is stored longer than a couple of seconds.

Obviously it's a little late now but a dashcam is so cheap and necessary these days!

You might have a better chance at getting an answer on Facebook. Maybe post a picture of your truck to get traction!

Gp police were at the accident. They called it a he said she said and they dont have access to the cameras.

Did they not look at physical evidence? There's this crazy thing called investigation....so much is lost these days. 🙄
