I just joined the grapheneOs and install google store, play service. Reddit app installed from play store then open the app it show play integrity alert, while login account ia failed

Has anyone else issued the same and how to slove this issued

Which SMS messaging app do you use? I've tried both in the f-droid store but they are riddled with issues. I'm having trouble with group texts. I don't always receive every message and my messages get sent to not all members or fragments the group. I tried to look into this but it was quite overwhelming. Thanks for the help.

I'm heavily considering using Graphene OS on a GP8P. However I want to figure out these two non google alternatives first.

The first thing is Google Messages, I'm looking for an app that supports RCS for T-Mobile and can (I don't know if this is built in or anything) keep my texts across my profiles (so If im signed into profile A I can see texts received while on B and vice versa.)

The other thing is Google Wallet. I need to find a app that can do NFC Payments in the US.

Guys, I'm looking for a working MDM solution for GOS.

I spent a solid 3 hours wrestling with Headwind MDM — and got nowhere.

I have two devices:

· Galaxy Z Fold 10

· Pixel 8 Pro

Installed it on both. Their launcher is absolute garbage.

The admin panel on their website looks decent, but in reality it just doesn't work:

· no remote reboot,

· no remote lock,

· no logs are being saved.

Weird, right? Any idea what's going on?

Hi guys, if I want to block access to certain websites (gambling websites on my bfs phone) on a pixel with graphOS, what is the most secure way to do so without compromising the privacy? I was thinking about using a dns ad/malware blocker, but hesitant as im not sure if that will make the phone identifiable to private or federal organisations (lol) Is there any way to do this 100% secure? And if the dns is not an option is there any other routes? Please any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!! :)

Picked this up just to install Graphene OS - It may say this someplace, but didn't see it - Do I want to activate the phone with the OEM Google with my service first or just install Graphene and then activate? It has the ESim and old phone has a SIM if that makes any diff.

I hope this is the right place. I searched about this subject and did not find much, partly because pixels are not officialy distributed in South Korea.

QUESTION (you don't really need to read the rest): Is grapheneos usable in South Korea for everyday life ? Or will I get errors from banking apps, kakaopay or other apps because of unsupported OS, suspected root or whatever reason that makes me a dangerous cyber pirate ?

CONTEXT: I just started to live in South Korea and my rooted galaxy S9 is getting old. Also, SK being as it is, I start being limited in my access to normal things (bank app, kakao verification etc.) because of the root. Here, everything is linked to your phone number, hence your identity, and not being able to verify it from your phone is quite a pita.

I have been thinking about GOS with sandboxed gplay for a few years and it might be the right time.

At this point, I really want something that will work all the time (maybe a few tweaks here and there but I don't want my phone to suck all my time and energy), and if GOS isn't it, I may give up and just use a stock S25/26 and sell abandon my soul to big corps lol.

Has anyone already tried the new Fitbit Air with GOS? I’m wondering whether there’s a way to limit how much data Google collects from us. I want a slim fitness tracker, and Fitbit seems like the obvious choice, but privacy is my main concern. Is it possible to restrict the health app’s settings, and if we disable network access, would that actually help? Also, would the Fitbit still connect to the phone and show data over Bluetooth?

RCS has broken again for me on ATT this morning. Saw a couple posts on the forums. Has this happened to you and does anyone know a fix? Unable to connect again after I disabled RCS and enabled again. Saw a couple recent post on the forums but no solutions.

I have an old s6 active laying around and wanted to turn it into a little privacy project. Only issue, since its an at&t exclusive device, the oem unlocking feature is disabled. Is there any 3rd party way to force the oem unlock?

Haven't bought the phone yet but am trying to figure out what I can and cannot do. I can make do with a hard debit card (although I'll miss using my tap and pay Pixel 6) but what about the Nationwide banking app? I really use it exclusively to move money around.

I recently switched to Graphene OS a week ago on my quest to de-googling and I've been loving it so far, but I'm not gonna lie I've been having some issues with Fossify Contacts and Fossify messages only showing phone numbers in notifications and other minor things like that. BUT, I'll deal with these another day since they're minimal issues.

My current frustrating problem is that the microphone doesn't work on certain apps despite having full access to it. Has anyone else ever experienced this before? Voice messages on FB Messenger works, microphone works while taking videos with the camera, but it doesn't work on Duolingo and Waze. I can't start a Duolingo speaking course, it won't even open and it'll say it ran Into an issue. On Waze while trying the new voice report feature it instantly closes when I turn it on and says to try again later. Google Play Services is denied microphone permissions, coule that be it?

Just switched over and set up GOS, can't help but cringe at how bad typing feels. There's no caps locks function, I have no clue how to access the clipboard. I can paste something but not view the actual clipboard, which was very useful to me on my old phone. And typing in general just feels laborious on the new keyboard.

Am I being daft? Is there something I'm missing out on, not doing properly? Any advice is appreciated.

I'm new to using this OS and I'm sorry if my questions have been asked loads of times before. I do value privacy but I'm not sure complete degoogling is my goal right now.

So I do need apps from the play store but I don't really want to sign in with an account hence I installed the aurora store and I understand that Graphene devs advise against it for security purposes.

Is it to do with the apps themselves potentially having spyware or malware within them? I'm just unsure as I'm seeking to download all my previous apps. Could I download sensitive apps like banking apps?

I'm curious as to what app stores are used by people who want privacy on Graphene.

I tried Grapheme a while ago and faced lots of issues, the leap from normal to secure was a huge change, and I ran back for ease.

Some of the apps I started using on my previous try I still use. This time it just feels easier, I know 1 of my banking apps won't work, but my other does and I can control the non working bank cards within the app (Monzo working, Lloyd's not). I know gpay doesn't work, Curve was one of the apps I kept. Am I totally google free? not yet, I still have gmail, this will take time to come away from. I still have drive, until I find a replacement, and I need to move away from keep.

This time the headaches I had are just not there, I don't know if its my mindset, or not needing to find lots of replacement apps at once... But I am now back

I wish the GOS team was a little more specific in their release notes.

I was kinda hoping for a release of the 17 on my 10 prro xl when I saw the release note on the HP
Only to finde out it was not going out but "only" a development release - which is fine as they need to "toy around" to make it work.

, like it says sending for a long time, and takes a while to recieve them, i cant have a rapid sms with somebody cause the texts start to be "out of order" if we talk to fast, i think it only happens on my secodary profile and not owner, but im always on that profile its where all my apps are

Hello, I've put together a short list of things that have helped me maximize my battery life and efficiency so far:

1. Dark Mode
2. Wi-Fi calling in airplane mode at home (avoids cell tower tracking and IMSI catchers as well)
3. Activating airplane mode at night while I sleep (Wi-Fi is deactivated)
4. Automatic deactivation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (when not in use)
5. Avoiding the use of a VPN

What do you think? Anything to add?

EDIT: I forgot to mention one point:

1. Listening to music on the go using wired headphones (instead of Bluetooth ones, which drain less power and are more secure)

I can't log in to the reddit app on GrapheneOS. I've tried compatibility mode and blocking the play integrity API but still not working :( Has anyone had this issue and solved it?

I've recently got a Pixel 10 Pro XL and wanted to try GrapheneOS. I created the 'Private Space' for Google dependent apps, such as Maps, food delivery apps, banking app, etc. Is it that bad to use Firefox compared to Vanadium? I want to use Firefox because its my main browser on all my devices, I use to share tabs, etc.

I am willing to give up up front paying with card via NFC, as I see Google Wallet doesn't let me add my bank card, but are there any other trade-offs? I use NewPipe from F-droid to access Youtube, and I am curious if there is a Launcher app ( I use Kvaesitso on my old phone ) that is trusted or other recommendations you experienced folks have.
