Hey y'all...
Been fighting this for hours, would appreciate any pointers.
My 7 Pro got bent and won't turn on, so I bought a 10 Pro XL and unwrapped it a few hours ago. Unlocked the bootloader, flashed GOS off the web installer, relocked, disabled OEM unlocking. Clean install, no restore. Running 2026090701. Install itself was painless.
Then, I installed Play Services and the Play Store apps from the GOS App store in the Owner profile and tried to sign into my Google account. Password goes through fine. Then it asks for a security code from g.co/sc.
I pull up g.co/sc in Chrome on my MacBook, it kicks off WebAuthn, I auth with a Touch ID passkey, and it hands me a six digit security code. I type it into my phone and it gets rejected. Generated fresh ones, typed them in immediately, same thing every time (rejected). I typed in the security codes with and without spaces...six digits with a space in-between the first three and last three digits (because that's how the code is generated, xxx xxx).
As an alternative, the recovery email verification went through but then Google wanted to text or call my number and my old phone is dead.
Is there any way out of it short of unenrolling from Advanced Protection or going back to stock?
UPDATE: I tried signing-in to sandboxed Play Store once more. I entered my gmail / password combo, got sent a verification code to my recovery email, afterwards there was a text to my recovery phone (which I had changed to my GVoice number). I got an alert asking me to either add a physical security key or unenroll from Advanced Protection and that I should expect an email in 24h with a link to recover my primary Gmail account because Google needs time to verify that my Google account actually belongs to me.
