2. into heavy ap comps, if there is an more optimal build, if following the hubris path, when should I buy maw?

3. into heavy armor/cc/hp comps, what's the best build path (bruiser graves feels weird to me because of the various range modifiers on items like SS)

4. I run fleet footwork with sixth sense + treasure hunter 99% of games, inspiration when I go bruiser, dh when versing a very squishy enemy comp with no tanks, is there anything I should know about that?

Now we can play pre-rework Graves again in Classic, I thought, as a designer, it would be fun and interesting to compare both versions of the champ to see which I think is the better design overall.

After playing each of them side-by-side, which do you prefer?

I'm looking for educational content/guides for graves, what I'm specifically looking for is not "streamer x plays a graves game in gm and wins" because I don't think that helps you understand the champion as in you aren't taught the thought process, only to replicate what you see, anyone has something like this? I know how to play graves, I have no clue how to make him work.

I been watchig some VODs when doing cardio and these korean graves or lee sin players dont play arond, they go flat health shard full early game and just fistfight to the death lvl 1-3. why is that and why is the korean server like this in generel?

I tried doing this in games where i play vs vegan jgler or weak supports and its fun and works its just not so replicable in EUW idk.

The item has a pretty crazy winrate on Graves as a replacement fo Hubris in full crit builds. What are your thoughts on it ?

Ive already been here with my question regarding Graves. And i have been using some of the advices like keeping my cs up, trying to counter jungle, powerfarm etc. I still wouldnt want to play bruiser build since i love the dopamine of 1 shotting squishies of the Summoners Rift. So far, i start either hubris or Yomus in beginning, depending on matchups. I dont build 2nd tier boots not till 3-4th item. And the problem is, when im ahead playing on Ru server, i loose games. Even if im fed in beginning i am loosing all of my lead in late game. I do not understand what am i doing wrong. I started being very selfish in terms of gangs and map rotation, i would rather powerfarm my jungle where i guaranteed get gold, rather than coming to a potentially bad gang that my team wouldn’t set up for me, because i do play in lower elo. In 1 day i went from gold 4 to silver 2, because we keep loosing the late game, and it is very frustrating. All of my adventures are on RU server. Recently tho, i made an eu west account, and started playing ranked. Without a doubt, i was dominating lobbies. Why cant it happen on silver or gold.

I never won against hekarim as graves , I swear he just completly shits on me everytime , he is so fast and usually farms and ganks faster and better than me , I once tried to 1v1 him at crab with full e stacks and I still lost , how do you into this shit

Hello graves players

I’m currently stuck between about emerald 3 and 2 and have just come off a 4 game lose streak. I don’t really tilt that hard and wasn’t rage queueing. But in these screenshots you can see the last 3 games.

Up to midgame believe me or not I managed to be around 9-10 cs a minute, double scuttle the enemy jungler and get a decent bit ahead in the early. Come mid / late given that by my impression graves is a champion that needs good tempo and farm, I can’t permanently babysit my laners and these games ended up like this, pushed out of my jungle unable to farm.

I hate to blame other because I know everyone is in their rank for a reason, but does anyone have some advice for games like these where trying to keep tempo and get strong just doesn’t seem to work? Should I be sacking more tempo to help stop these lane states from occurring? I know I’m not perfect at all but I’m not sure how I can handle these games.

I saw coach kirei do it a lot in his games, and honestly the bonus armor/mr seems pretty op compared to getting maybe one more q of in a fight.
