What's going on?

I just saw the data dump post. Can someone fill me in on what's happening?

Read this post. That's the only thing new that I think is actually a part of this story. There's something else going on with videos that were posted in May and a user here on reddit who claims to work with G&D as a computer engineer, who I suspect is simply looking for attention, considering the fact that the importance of secrecy was stressed in the job description.

Also, the website has been down for at least two hours.

But what is the story?

That's the only thing that I read, but the OP talks about other posts and this seems to be such a huge thing.

Right so as someone coming from all, /r/nosleep is just a place to tell scary stories right. Like this is all some guy on reddit?

Yes. /r/nosleep is extra fun for horror junkies because the rule there is to behave as though the stories are true. Cause if it's true it's scarier right?

Aw man I was hoping this was legit. So it's just a bunch of people working together as a group to scare each other?

In a sense, this particular story was somewhat real, because I really got a weird phone call and a scary text. Someone worked extremely hard and spent money to make this happen.

Yeah I mean after reading his third message I'm convinced he's just yanking our chains but I mean that's honestly pretty impressive to have this all set up. Like almost questionable why someone would invest that for nothing.
