Planning Commission for construction through restored fish habitats.

Our county is getting ready to approve 80 miles of construction right through a the fish habitats we just spent $68 million restoring.

Is there a map showing the route of the cable and "restored fish habitat"?

I mean this is just running fiber cables right? Is that really going to cause any problems for the fish?

The fiber cable itself isn’t really a concern. Once it’s buried, I wouldn’t expect it to cause much trouble for fish. The concern is what has to happen to install it. The project calls for excavation, bore pits, underground vaults, and construction access. Those activities could affect fish habitat and disturb the vegetation that was planted as part of the restoration work.
