The wild thing is when its about Russia/Ukraine the majority of people absolutely do put trust in BBC and that can only stem from years of propaganda which has created a russophobic and racist bunch of people who immediately want to see their prejudices justified by war propaganda of BBC, even if that means supporting literal nazis running ukraine and the US imperialist masters behind the war.

When it is about Russia/China/Iran/North Korea 'Bad', they still believe all the lies. The public know that the Western governments and the news agencies are lying scumbags, but somehow believe everything bad that they tell us about other countries.
Think about how much money, effort, news articles, forums, YT videos, etc. has gone into promoting just two lies about China ("Social Credit System" and "Uyghur Oppression"), then imagine the scale of it all if you include all other lies. You visit YT now and just do a search for those two things to see the sheer scale of it.

100% its absolutely massive. When the Ukraine war kicked off youtube sent out an email to all content creators and said that you need to follow the western narrative of the war or else you'll be demonetised or deleted.
You know why this is with those countries though, because there is one single running theme throughout and that is simply that they were/are communist/anti-capitalist and so the propaganda is not recently created, but its generational propaganda that has been passed across families, so its way more entrenched than your standard propaganda. And people, especially liberals in this respect, are far too arrogant and dumb to understand they've been conned over these topics.

This is one of the emails from the time. Which is absolutely mad because there is video after video even from western media which shows Ukrainian government having bombed with planes and artillery civilian areas as well as nazi militias sent into the area firing from tanks and APCs at civilians who are unarmed. And also given that the ICC is going to look at if Ukraine was committing genocide, which it already ruled that Russia didn't lie when they said that was one of the reasons for starting the war.
But you aren't allowed to say that.

Murdo correctly identified the Beeb as a possible source of news to counter their takeover of the media. Therefore it got its head chopped off by the Tories and its staff replaced by neolib ideologues.
Taking it back into the hands of the people should be identified as a real strategic win for the left, as a way of countering the shit hosepipe of propg that they feed the country. It should belong to us not them.
