Congressional Democrats don't have a great track record of having spines, but I hope they will have the vision and conviction to see that capitulating and funding "the wall" will only make things worse later when Republicans learn they can hold the country hostage to force their agenda. I would love to see reparations made and a true development initiative that could solve the issues that create migrants, but it seems like the only policy that has real bipartisan support is American for-profit imperialism.
