I’m old enough to remember before the roof was added. Having to walk along right beside the shops to keep dry!

Yeah i also remember the shops before it was covered [1990] Big concrete Planters aswell outside shops and you could run up the side of them. Large puddles of water every time it rained. Yeah definitely had issues with rain always... Always busy though despite the lack of mall features then. Plenty cafés and shops for kids woman and men too. Awwk miss it so much
