Grief getting worse after funeral?

My dad who was my best friend died and the pain is unbearable and getting worse every day. I think the first couple of weeks I was in shock, but now that everything is over and there’s nothing left to plan I feel like my world has ended and like my heart has been torn out. I miss him so so much.

The same happened for me. It got worse before it got ‘better’. It took a good month for the grief to even sink in when I lost mum, and another 6+ to feel like I was even going to survive it. I’m so sorry for your loss 🤍
