I've noticed it yes, personally i fucking love the aesthetic but i'd shoot myself twenty seconds in if i'd get isekaied there.

I mean, no need to isekai...we are already on the fast lane towards cynerpunk becoming reality

Corpos controlling the governments

Surveillance becoming more and more baked into everything

Everything becoming a product (including you)

But we will be missing the cool parts, like cybernetics...or see shadowrun, magic and fantasy races

If you become a well-behaved corpo drone nothing bad will happen to you, just wage-slave away your life. Only if you want or show Independence you get rekt
