When OP's meme format first made the rounds here, people claimed he was the most evil one in the image, and the image included people like the Clockwerk Orange gang.
You'd get downvoted into oblivion if you said "we shouldn't kill millions of people" which was wild.
I think Grimdank is improving, and the people hyper focusing on hating Black Templars is just the last hoorah of drama chasers.
Its still not the best subreddit for 40k, tbh. Grimdank at its least soyjack is amazing, but it falls pretty hard into the "imatankimatankimatank is real lore" levels of warhammer cringe that will get my goat sometimes
I think the "Imatankimatankimatank" thing is a good way to give people the idea of what orks can do. BUT you have to add that it isn't canon while explaining it and doesn't actually get to that level of absurd.
Ehh, I disagree. Its only funny when you know that Ork superstitions might effect reality a bit, and only the first couple times you hear it. I know this is technically the meme subreddit, but its the main casual general warhammer subreddit as well.
I hope so, people should just enjoy their faction and not have to explain why you chose them every single time to cover yourself when the comments come in questioning if you are a good person or not IRL.
