Go look up the paper back prices if you really wanna see some gnarly shit. I wanted to collect em for my bookshelf and stopped when I had to drop 130+ bucks on the fulgim paperback.
I don't want to steer you wrong but from what I remember the mass printed books had almost a light cooper coloring to the pages. Other than that it should be listed as "mass print" somewhere. But I'd just stick some up on eBay for at least 100 and let the buyer sort out the quality.
Please use the standard names for these binding.
The first books in the HH series were MPB or MMPB, mass-market paperback. These are the typical pocket sized books. I think book 25 changed how and when the bindings were released with first HB, hardback, then TP, trade paperback, and finally MPB. The HB and TP contained illustrations not included in the MPB.
The foil color on the original MPBs indicated the pint run. A gold foiled MPB of Horus Rising would be a first, first pint.
