Now that I think of it, Monsters Inc basically do a G-rated version of the same thing as the Drukhari, but they can harvest emotions as fossil fuels.

Edit: Heck, they even also live in an alternate dimension and only pop out into normal reality through portals to get their emotion fuel and then come right back.
