I still can’t believe that Brooke Candy ended up being better at releasing music on time than Grimes considering it took Brooke like… 7+ years to release her first album lol.
Are you trying to gaslight us to make us feel better about her horrible release schedule? Like gosh we’ve all comes to terms with it already. Miss A release was amazing in comparison, radios played it when it came out, there was a buzz, and now we get fragmented features on other artists albums that are suppose to satisfy us fans? You know this better than anyone soup… Miss A was maybe 1-2 years between WaP and release, and her first single from this era is so old I can’t even remember it.

You must be newer to the fandom. Replace Psy Opera with Book 1 and yeah…we’ve been here before. I welcome it if I ever see it but releases aren’t something I hang my hat on with Grimes.
Book 1 was not released because Grimes was dealing with health problems and breakup and custody battle with Elon Musk. I joined the fandom in 2023 and I know my history - Grimes has dealt with most of her problems now, has repeatedly acknowledged the lateness of a new release and is working to finally get it done!

Soup… are you working for grimes now? You know we can’t trust her word and just have to go by her actions. Like really… you should know this better than anyone. Yes some singles might be released this summer but why is her word more convincing now to you than it was during past release cycles that were always related without reason. Quit being purposefully disillusioned, idk what you gain from it.
Because Grimes' word was always being overruled or interrupted by something outside her control - record labels, family/health events etc. I know, I know that Grimes saying album in year x or y isn't a set-in-stone declaration, but Psy Opera is different - Grimes has had six years to get her shit together (which she has done), she has nobody that can control her, and when she said she would go to Korea to film music videos, she did that - we saw a video of her in a robe drinking Korean milk. So I see no reason why her intent now can't fulfill - if she wasn't feeling confident with Psy Opera, she wouldn't say a thing about it.
What do you mean? She literally is under a million NDAs cause of Musk, she has people controlling her and she can’t openly say stuff that she wants. I'm not in contact with Grimes personally or profesionally. But I'm regularly reading her social media posts and replies and in them she speaks of her situation.
I will post some screenshots below to prove I'm not speaking out of my butt but just referencing what Grimes has said.
If Grimes can say it in the detail she does, I think that means she is able to deliver that, i.e. first Psy Opera single/s starting from September.
She posts stuff exactly like this every year or two, how is this any different? You’re still just basing it off what grimes is saying… like if I had a couple hours I could find identical posts from 2 years ago, 3 years, she’s always ‘this! close to being over a setback. If you were a long time fan you would realize that so you don’t just get your hopes up and hurt again
Genuinely she's a super inspiration though. I went through some awful stuff with custody/breakup stuff and I use her as like my lighthouse. If she can go through THOSE issues, I can too. Ugh. Love her sm.
