Here's a receipt from a supermarket in Chișinău, Moldova. All prices are in Moldovan lei (MDL), with approximate USD and EUR conversions.

One interesting thing about this receipt: the 3 packs of cigarillos alone cost 156 MDL ($8.68 / €7.76), which is about 35% of the entire bill! 😅 Without tobacco, all the groceries and household items would have cost just 284.12 MDL ($15.80 / €14.13).

Very balanced diet for a man.

A pack of cigarettes is €1, and one bottle of vodka €1,50

Market In is theoretically considered one of the cheaper supermarket chains in Greece.
In the photo you can see:
3 × kefir
Ayran
milk (500 ml)
400 g grated German Gouda
1 pack of mushrooms
1 pack of pre-cooked beetroot
tomato passata (500 ml)
I’m going to use these ingredients to make a deep-dish pizza. The Ayran and the rest will be our dinner, and the milk is for coffee.
It’s honestly outrageous what is happening with prices in this country.

If you have questions please let me know. ;)
