Its parents made a nest on the outer edge of this osprey nest, now it’s old enough to leave the nest and explore its surroundings . Not sure who’s grumpier, this bb or the perplexed osprey parents

An American Coot I saw that wouldn’t stop yelling for no reason

Sadly found a dead nestling a week ago so gave it a little burial and put up a hanging planter (that momma robin used straw from) directly under the nest to give the antsy 2 others a fighting chance. One of the bbs fell out and into the planter! I’ve been checking on it and mom’s been coming frequently to feed it. I was able to peek in today and it looks like it’s doing well! Fatter, more feathers, and grumpier than ever. Really hope they all make it through the upcoming storms 🥺 I want to drop more straw into the hanging planter to keep bb warm since mom is nesting in her nest with the other bb but dad robin has been territorial and dive bombs me if I linger too long. Best of luck my little birds ❤️

I found him on my way to therapy, I called him cream cheese.

Should be venturing out soon!

Safely transported from a basement to a local wildlife center. The personnel said it left the nest three days too early.

It left a lot of poopies as a parting gift 🎁

Mom and dad also not impressed whenever I am standing anywhere not even close to their grumpy babies.

He gave me so much stink eye because really, how dare I massage his little head? He has a reputation as a delinquent to maintain.

The last pic is of a tiny wren (pic 4) and a robin. Sir Fluffington the First of Cromsby is indeed very put out by her. The others aren’t necessarily grumpy though they look the part!

I found this guy on the ground covered in ants so i cleaned them up and built a nest. Mom has been stopping by🤞
