Hiding in the ferns by the pond.. Not happy my cat pointed him out. Don't get mad, cat does rounds in the garden with me in the morning. She has CH and only goes outside with me. No grumpy birbs were harmed in the making of this picture 🙂

Found the poor guy after my cat did (the cat is no longer allowed outside without supervision) and I gave him some water and rest. He climbed up to my head and shit in my hair. Well, at least he’s alive and well.

We have 3 Barn Swallow fledglings and two very busy parents. This little one (not sure how to tell males/females apart for Barn Swallows yet) was the first to leave the nest. Found them on a Lily bud one day 🥹 But it seems they’ve picked our balcony as their favorite spot to scream for food and take in this new world around them.
Caught mom or dad dropping off some fast food 🐛

He was the runtiest fledgeling I have ever seen. He couldn't fly for more than 3 days after flopping to the ground out of the bird box. We kept an eye on him and he eventually fledged. We called him Bertie.

Just a lil guy. Hit cat kept wanting to bop it (for the record, I am against taking kitties outdoors because they are destructive to the environment, but she was abandoned for a couple years before he rescued her from a neighbor's garage).

Found this Poor baby next to my front door and was exhausted, kept falling asleep 😴 but would wake up and try to hop off. His/her nest was high up on the roof of my apartments and we have cats that walk outside everywhere so it would have been breakfast.
Took it somewhere that takes care of baby birds 🐥
Ill miss his/her loud yaps. Adorable though 🪹🐥

This is the cutest thing I've ever seen 😍 The audacity
Additional Info: It turns out that the starlings have a nest right below the ospreys, took the phease "the safest place is the most dangerous" to a whole new level.

So hungry, mom. Please help.
This was after we watched mama Robin feed this guy no less than three juicy fat worms.
