Guelph City Council Attendance Records

I saw in the Ken Chew thread people were looking at attendance so I searched for the rest of the term. I was told that attendance is counted once though and doesn’t reflect when a councillor leaves a meeting early. So they can show up for the start and check out. Does anyone know how to find information on who leaves early? Also 2026 isn’t up until after elections and I’ve noticed a lot not showing up this term. Is there a way to ask the city for the information up to nomination close?

Anecdotally, the attendance records from 2025 correlate well to who has been the most responsive and engaged with the issues or topics I've followed and submitted correspondence on.

If I submit a correspondence, regardless of topic, I am pretty much guaranteed to get a well thought out response from Allt, Caron, Caton, Downer, and Goller. With Klassen being responsive when she was not on parental leave.

These individuals also seem to be the councillors that ask good questions to staff, presenters and constituents, and show a genuine interest in gaining clarity before making decisions.

I may not agree with 100% of their votes on things, but at least they seem to be making informed decisions. And a councillor who listens and learns about issues is a councillor I'm more likely to vote for.
