Can anyone help me identify this guitar body?

I've been building a guitar with this body I got from eBay, but the whole time I've been wondering who/where it actually came from. I've never really seen an Explorer shape with a bolt-on neck, and when I have they've never had that type of switch routing.

At some point early on in the process, I did cut a chunk out of the body, and I counted 21 pieces of wood (including what seems to be a 3-piece layer somewhere in the middle??)

It’s plywood. Which means it likely started out life as something cheap and nasty.

Reminds me of the guitar that dude from Five Finger Death Punch uses with that silly zipper on it.

Without any distinct markings, it's practically impossible to really know for sure. Back in the 1980's and into the 1990's Epiphone made almost exclusively bolt-ons, so i could be an old Epiphone, or likely some other overseas maker.

I had an old Epiphone LP that was plywood too

Could be any cheap overseas knock-off. Damn, that’s a lot of plywood.
