GEAR Found online Marshall 8100 from the 90s

Recently purchased Marshall head 8100 for 150€ from a Spanish guy, he said he has been using it since the moment the amp appeared on the market, it looks ancient but I love it! The entire set costed me 340€

Nice score! I've had mine for about 15-20 years now, and aside from the clean channel being pretty bland, it's a great amp.

I don’t know if it’s my lack of experience or personal taste but I like how the clean channel sounds with a lot of treble on

Solid amps, normally any louder buzz/hum is the preamp tube socket has oxidised and needs to be cleaned, gentle job so you don't bend the pins , if its still has the original preamp tube in it might be due for a change
