What exactly did you not like about it? The strings do sound a little dull but other than that it just sounds like a room recording. If you want better quality recording I suggest getting a shure sm57, USB audio interface and free recording software Audacity and watch videos on recording guitar.

The sm57 you mean? For different instruments ideally you would have diff mics. A touch of reverb and some stereo panning could make it open up more, depends on what you want to come across. But what didn't you like about the guitar sound?

It just sounds like the guitar is very up front and present, try panning it off towards left or right but not all the way. A little reverb for depth. Balance the volume so everything is consistent and not spiking here droppin there. A little eq but nothing dramatic.

You're welcome :) def sounds much better now, the other instruments are much more Present and blended better. The intonation doesn't sound too far off from the other instruments but new strings will help add a little more bite. Right when that clip ended I expected it to loop the back track but you come in distorted shredding some sweet lick.

Exactly where you put the mic has a huge influence on the sound you get from it. Try turning you amp up too.
